AMD’s Radeon RX 6900 XT Liquid Cooled GPU is now available as a component in pre-built PC models, with the MAINGEAR VYBE or RUSH as the primary option in the US. Buyers will need to select the RX 6900 XT LC from the Custom configuration, with the card adding $2,227 to the total cost. The new GPU is not available in the Apex Custom configuration, however, likely due to Apex’s integrated cooling system. Buyers in Japan will need to look at the Galleria ZA9R-69XT LC, while UK buyers will be able to go through PCSPECIALIST. The RX 6900 XT LC boasts extremely high frame rates at maximum settings by way of an attached radiator fan, 16GB of GDDR6 memory, a new AMD Infinity Cache, and new compute units. This, according to AMD, will provide 4K-equipped players with “the ultimate future-ready gaming experience” and “ultra-high frame rates.” The liquid cooling feature, itself, will reduce the noise and heat generated by the GPU while keeping the performance smooth. According to VideoCardz, this will give the RX 6900 XT LC a game clock 235 MHz faster than previous models, and 185 MHz faster than models with air cooling. Interested buyers can get their hands on either the VYBE Custom or the RUSH Custom PC models, starting at $1,710 and $2,335, respectively. It is currently not known if or when the RX 6900 XT LC will be made available separately.
