Flip a Picture Horizontally on a PowerPoint Slide

Flip a picture horizontally on a slide when the focus of the picture is facing the wrong way for your purpose. You may have a picture that would be perfect if it was just facing in the opposite direction. Ideally, the subject of interest is leading into the slide, if the topic needs more information. If the focus is somewhat of an exit, face the photo in a direction that shows it leaving the slide. In the sample slide below, the picture is duplicated and then flipped horizontally to demonstrate a tennis move for either right-handed or left-handed players.

Flip a Picture Vertically on a PowerPoint Slide

Flip a picture vertically on a slide and turn the picture upside down. Perhaps you have a chart of your company sales but it is shown from lowest to highest. You might want to flip it to focus on the highest sales that year. On the sample slide shown below, the picture of a prop plane is flipped vertically to show how it might appear at times during an air show.
