Get Facebook on Roku With Screen Mirroring

One thing you can do is to screen mirror Facebook from your mobile phone or tablet. While this isn’t strictly the Facebook app for Roku, the result is the same. You can browse your profile or watch Facebook Live or Facebook Watch on your television.

Other Ways to Get Facebook on Your TV

If you’re not thrilled about the available options when you mirror your mobile device to your Roku, you have a couple of other options for getting Facebook Live or Facebook Watch on your TV.

Use Facebook with a different streaming service or device. Some services might allow you to download the Facebook app or access Facebook Watch so you can see it on your TV. You can try several free streaming services and devices to find the one that’s right for your needs. Connect your computer, smartphone, or tablet to your TV using a wired connection. Refer to our guide on connecting your phone to your TV, or connecting your computer to your TV if you need help setting it up. If you have a smart TV, you can also try accessing a browser on your smart TV to go to Facebook and sign in through the browser. You should be able to browse your feed just like you would with any other device.

What Happened to the Facebook App for Roku?

There was a time when you could download a Facebook app to your Roku device to view Facebook on a TV. That app is no longer available, and nothing has replaced it, so it’s not technically possible to get Facebook or Facebook Live on your Roku.
