The T5 II model offers much of what you’d expect from a premium pair of earbuds: wireless Bluetooth connectivity, active noise cancellation, sweat and water resistance, and so on. The hands-free motion controls, which let you do things like accept or reject incoming calls just by moving your head, are a bit of a surprise, though. According to Klipsch’s description, many of the stand-out features in the T5 II come from the integration with a Bragi operating system. Bragi’s OS (built into the headphones) provides an automatic noise shield that will kick in to shield you from unexpected loud noises, as well as provide you with shortcut configurations, equalizer customization, and more. The hands-free motion controls let you perform actions like nodding to accept a call, shaking your head to refuse a call or skip an audio track, etc. Rounding out the package, the Klipsch T5 II earbuds offer up to seven hours (five with ANC) of battery life, plus another 21 hours (15 with ANC) when using the charging case. The buds use Dirac HD Sound for improved spatial sound, vocal clarity, and bass fidelity. All of these features, plus the hands-free control, could make the T5 II earbuds a decent competitor for Apple’s AirPods Pro.
