According to Nokia’s information page, the XR20 uses an “ultra-solid” case and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for the display, making it one extremely tough piece of delicate hardware. The description claims the new model is “scratch-resistant, drop-resistant, temperature-resistant, water-resistant, and kid-and-pet-resistant.” Perhaps more importantly, Nokia also says it will provide three years of OS upgrades and four years of monthly security updates to keep it running into at least 2025. The XR20 clocks in at 171.64mm (6.75-inches) tall, 81.5mm (3.2-inches) wide, 10.64mm (0.41-inches) deep, and weighs 248g (0.54 pounds)—definitely bigger and heavier than an iPhone 12. It sports a 6.67-inch display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a FHD+ 1080 x 2400 resolution as well. The XR20 also touts an 8 MP front camera, 48 MP rear main camera, and secondary 13 MP ultra-wide rear camera. Under the proverbial hood, the XR20 runs on Android 11, sporting 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage space, and is rounded out with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G CPU. Nokia claims it has a two-day battery life with 18W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging, plus it makes use of Qi wireless charging and the Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 system. While pricing and release details aren’t listed on Nokia’s website yet, HMD Global states it will be available in select markets starting today, priced at €499 EUR (about $590 USD).
