In addition to the standard file management tools you’d expect, you can compress and decompress ZIP files, create encrypted ZIP files in the app, and transfer files from your Motorola device’s internal storage to external storage. You can also connect your Motorola device to a computer through the app and browse desktop files remotely.

When you open the app, it finds and loads all the radio stations available in your area and updates the station list as you move around. You can also move the app dial to scan for stations and make a playlist of your favorites. The app also includes a sleep timer and record function. Moto Actions provide one-handed gestures to execute actions on a Motorola device, including twisting your wrist to open the camera app and shaking or chopping twice to turn on the flashlight. Some quick actions include setting a device face down to activate Do Not Disturb and picking up a device to silence its ringer.  One-button navigation supports multitasking. A simple tap takes you to the home screen. Swipe left to go to a previous page. Swipe right to go to the Recents page. The Moto Display function within Moto Apps conserves battery life by limiting logins to the device to complete certain actions like responding to texts or viewing notifications.  Night Display transitions the screen from warm tones to cool tones as day transitions into night. At night, more Night Display features are enabled, including a wave-to-wake function and an always-on display.
