The update delivers new features based on player feedback. New features include updates to the Xbox app on PCs, a new Play Later feature, and the latest version of Microsoft Edge. The Xbox app on PCs is gaining new ways for players to access their games remotely. Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) is now available on the app for members with the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service. Cloud Gaming (Beta) lets people play games on their Windows 10 PC, Android devices, and even iOS, with no downloads necessary. The service is available in 22 countries, with the company recommending a 10Mbps minimum with a 5Ghz Wi-Fi connection for optimal play. Consoles owners can expect Xbox Cloud Gaming to arrive this holiday season. Additionally, Xbox remote play has been added to the app, which lets users play video games from their console on their computer. Play Later is a new feature that lets gamers curate a list of interesting games by saving it to a list to play later. The latest version of Microsoft Edge is now available on all Xbox consoles, bringing an improved web browsing standard. If a game opens a new window on Edge, players can send that page to another device to view and keep playing. Edge’s new mouse and sync support have been added to make console configuration an easier task. The September Update is available starting today.
